Miles away I think at times unable to speak. Of the voices I remember. Of their shadows deep. Surging waves of emotion are silent as birds roost. Desolate dream in tatters as a flag in the wind salutes. Hope is pressed to my heart and tossed and turned at will Something to show that I exist. Life seems ever transient yet still. I leave no trace of my joy, in haste I'm resolute. My offering rejected; the complexity of truth.
